We recently finished this gorgeous Claro Walnut slab dining table out of one our most extremely figured Claro Walnut slabs. The figure and grain in this table is absolutely mind blowing. All of the cracks were filled with a black epoxy. We also filled the tapered end with black epoxy to make the slab more uniform and functional. The top and bottom of the slab are finished with multiple coats of a clear spray on conversion varnish. The slabs sits on a set of our tapered sled bases that we had powder coated semi gloss black. This table measures 10′ long by 40″ wide by 30″ tall. We personally salvaged the tree on the corner of RD113 and rd 18 in Woodland, Ca. It now resides in Big River, Saskatchewan Canada.
