Walnut veneer and its uses:
Hunski Hardwoods is proud to offer a nice selection of veneers including beautiful walnut burl, Fiddleback walnut, and lace redwood burl. Veneers are available in bundles of 24 sheets (unless otherwise noted). The pieces in a bundle are sequential so they are ideal for bookmatching, quadmatching, or other layout patterns. 
Veneer is a product made of very thin pieces of wood. One of the biggest advantages of using veneer is its stability. While solid wood may warp or split, veneer is a thin sheet of wood glued to another piece, and it has greater strength because of its construction. The chance of it splitting, cracking or warping is greatly reduced. Some products made of veneer would not be possible using solid wood, because fluctuations in temperature and humidity can cause expansion and contraction of the wood.
Sustainability is another advantage of walnut veneer. Making veneer extends the use of a piece of walnut. A beautiful piece of walnut veneer can cover a much greater area than a piece of solid wood.
