We got a call from the owner of these 2 beautiful Redwood trees because the trees were dead and they wanted them to be used as something other then firewood. Upon further conversation with the owner we found that the trees had been planted on his property in Loomis, Ca in the 1940’s. They were quite the site to see for many years. Unfortunately, a few years ago they were infected with an incurable disease by the bark beetle. The owner did everything they could to save the trees but they finally fell victim to the disease and drought. We were able to come in and save both of the trees and turn them into gorgeous live edge slabs. The story and beauty of these trees will live on for many years to come.
