We were contacted by one of our farmer friends who had a Walnut tree he wanted taken down due to a decline in its health. The tree had a large rotten hole in the bottom and was dropping branches for a few years. It was planted along the old driveway to the home in the late 1890’s, that same driveway lined the field where his workers would work harvesting the vegetables from that season. The tree produced some absolutely stunning slabs that will live on for many lifetimes as timeless pieces of furniture.
