At Hunski Hardwoods we salvage urban and rural trees, keeping them out of landfills, from becoming firewood or mulch. In doing this we enable these wild giants to be transformed into high quality pieces of furniture and art. We look at the unique characteristics of each piece of wood and let it tell us what its next form should be. 
As trees both urban and rural reach the end of their lives by way of natural disasters, disease, or outgrow their space, there is no choice but to take them down. Hunski Hardwoods is proud to offer an alternative to wasting the beautiful wood, instead turning it into a treasure that becomes the second half of its life.
We take trees down with care and consideration for each tree in the process. We make sure that every bit of it that can be used is used wisely, and we honor its life by learning its story and passing it on to the next keeper of the wood. It is our mission to carry that story, as much as we know of it, into the wood’s next chapter and see that the tree is transformed with care, attention, and expertise.
