One of our good friends was removing an old barn to make room for more crops and there was a large Walnut Tree next to the barn that he wanted us to remove as well. He used his backhoe to dig up the tree whole with the roots attached. Once the tree was laying on the ground we removed the branches and brush and cleaned up the lot for him. When Hunski leaves a job site, we always leave it looking better then before. The tree ended up measuring 18′ long by 40″ wide and it has a cool bend in the middle. We will be milling this log up on our Woodmizer WM1000. These are going to make great bar top slabs. Check out the pictures of the job from start to finish. Find out more about Walnut wood.
